Description
Join CETLS Campus Culture committee and Lisa Panzera, Director of the Shirley Fiterman Art Center, for a virtual curator-led tour of the new exhibit: ID: Formations of the Self. Renew your spirit as you connect safely with colleagues and artwork in real time on a journey into the sociocultural formation of identity.

The exhibitā€”which has been designed to be safely viewed from outside Fiterman Hall through the large street frontĀ windows of the galleryā€”focuses on the work of eight artists:Ā LaKela Brown, Rachelle Dang, Jesse Harrod, Athena LaTocha, Emily Velez Nelms, Christie Neptune, Anna Plesset, and Joan Semmel.Ā These artists, working in a variety of mediums, explore multiple ways in which individuals are shaped Ā through the influences of place, gender, race, sexuality, the body, cultural traditions, and social and personal history. Each artist offers insight into how the complex intersections of these multiple overlapping elements inform and constitute our individual selves.
